Getting Started
Set up your Sayph phone in four simple steps.
Create your parent account
Head to the Sayph parent portal via your web browser at app.sayph.one or download the iOS app. Create your account with your email address and set a secure password.
Link the phone
Once your account is created, you'll receive a linking code. Enter this code on your child's Sayph phone to connect it to your parent portal.
Add approved contacts
Add contacts directly through the portal, or let your child request contacts from their phone — you'll receive a notification to approve or decline each request.
Configure your settings
Set up monitoring preferences, screen time limits, messaging permissions, and any other settings that suit your family. You're ready to go.

Troubleshooting
Common issues and how to resolve them.
Check that the phone number is entered correctly in the portal. Verify the contact is still marked as approved. Try removing and re-adding the contact. Restart the phone and check the signal strength. If the problem persists, contact support.
Confirm your subscription is active and the phone has an internet connection. Allow a few minutes for messages to sync. Try logging out and back in to the portal. If messages still aren't appearing, email [email protected].
Data may take up to 24 hours to sync fully. Check the phone's internet connection and ensure the subscription is active. Try refreshing the portal page. If the issue continues, email [email protected] with details.
Check the phone's storage capacity — if it's full, photos can't be saved. Verify the camera app hasn't been disabled in settings. Restart the phone and try again. For potential hardware issues, contact support.
AI summaries require an active subscription and a minimum number of messages to generate. They can take up to 24 hours to process. If you still don't see summaries after this time, contact support.
Check that both devices have an active internet connection. Double-check the linking code is entered correctly. Try restarting both the phone and your browser/app. If it still won't link, email [email protected].
Account & Billing
Manage your subscription, add carers, and update your account details.
Go to your account settings in the parent portal. From there you can view your current plan, update payment details, and cancel at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Yes. Go to account settings in the portal and invite a new user by entering their email address. They'll receive an invitation to create their own account with access to the same child's phone.
Our privacy policy and terms of service are available on the Sayph website at sayph.one. Links are also provided in the footer of every page and within the parent portal.
Frequently Asked Questions
There are two ways: add contacts directly through the parent portal, or your child can send a contact request from their phone which you'll need to approve in the portal.
Visit app.sayph.one in any web browser, or download the Sayph iOS app. An Android version of the parent app is coming soon.
You can view messages (last 30 days), call logs, screen time broken down by app, AI-generated message summaries, pending contact approvals, and all phone settings.
AI summaries analyse your child's messages and flag potentially concerning content so you can review it quickly. They're calibrated cautiously, which means they may occasionally flag harmless content — it's better to over-flag than miss something.
Sayph includes a carefully selected set of functional apps. Social media, games, and addictive applications are excluded. The focus is on essential tools like calling, messaging, and the camera.
No. Sayph takes a restrictive approach — there's no web browser and no app store. This prevents access to algorithm-based content and stops unapproved apps from being installed.
